Ra shows her around the ship a little bit. It's clear that she's amazed by what she is seeing, but uncomprehending of the significance of any of it.\n\nWhen he reaches the modest crew quarters, he looks at the room, a simple bed, a desk folded out from the wall, and a few simple trinkets remaining from a former inhabitant. \n\n//I guess in a way, this is my home now,// Ra thinks, the thought sobering his mood significantly.\n\nHe starts to turn, seeing Hesat looking him in the eye as he looks toward her. She's standing very close. His body reacts with surprise, his skin flaring nearly white for a split second before settling into a slightly darker shade of blue than usual. \n\nHer eyes never leave his own, one hand coming up and sliding the strap of her dress off her shoulder. With the same hand she reaches across to do the same with the other side. The dress seems to fall in slow motion, pooling around her feet.\n\n[[Allow this to continue.|Hesat first bedding.]]\n\n[[Brush off her advances.|Hesat first denied.]]
It takes a second for Ra to realize what Hesat intends, but all at once it hits him, she wishes to mate.\n\n"I," He pauses, considering his words, "I do not know if I am capable of fathering children with you, and I do not possess your species equipment" Ra says, feeling a touch awkward as he realizes that Hesat is actually the only human he has come into contact with.\n\nHetas's eyes flicker downward, a mixture of curiosity and confusion creasing her features. "Like the women who you were not interested in earlier this evening, I am not seeking to breed, I only wish to share with you the pleasures of the flesh."\n\n<<if $sunGod is "true">>Ra carefully begins to remove his clothes, watching her reaction as he reveals his crotch.\n\n<<else>>Hesitantly, she reaches out and begins to undress him, her eyes widening as his clothing falls away.\n\n<</if>>"There's nothing there," She says, clearly shocked. Her eyes raise up to his as if she expects to find some answer there.\n\n//Their equipment is different than anything from my home world,// He thinks. Then a thought crosses his mind that brings a sheepish grin to his face, //But if I am to remain on this world for any period of time, would it be so bad if I were to learn more about them, learn their customs?//\n\nHalf closing his eyes, he focuses, drawing upon the falcon DNA he absorbed right after landing, but only drawing on a particular portion of that DNA, //I was never very good with partial changes,// He thinks to himself.\n\nEven so, his crotch begins to change, the blue-green skin turning pink as a long tapered penis begins to grow.\n\nHesat's mouth falls open, her eyes wide as she sees the bird penis grow from where there was nothing before, "It's the closest I currently have to your species male genitalia."\n\nHer expression turns confused, clearly trying to make sense of his words.\n\nShe steps forward hesitantly, reaching out with one hand to take hold of his penis.\n\nHe gasps at her simple touch, //Incredible, such sensitivity. It's no wonder that this species associates breeding with pleasure.//\n\n<<if $sunGod is "true">>"My God Ra, do with me as you please," Hesat says, stepping around him and laying on the bed. \n\n//Such a strange looking thing,// Ra thinks as he looks at the place between Hesat's legs. Like petals of a flower she is spread, revealing a hole near the center. Ra steps forward, looking at it, studying it. After all, seeing scans through the ship's computers when he thought it would never be relevant is one thing, seeing something in person when it is the centerpiece of the current situation is another thing entirely.\n\nReaching out, he touches her sex, her eyes watching him closely as he explores her with his fingers. Then, he does as his studies have shown him, he moves forward and places the tip of his bird penis against her opening, then pushes inside.\n\n<<else>>"I do not fully understand what you are, you claim not to be a God, yet you do things that I never dreamed possible, or understand," She gently pushes his chest, causing him to fall onto his back across the bed before crawling on top of him.\n\n"God or not, I believe you to hold great power," With one hand, she guides his bird penis toward her hole, "And I would help you in your goals," Releasing his penis, she lowers herself onto it until she feels her hips meet his own.\n\n<</if>>The feeling is incredible, so much so that Ra's mind feels fuzzy for a moment. Once he is fully inside of her, he pulls back and immediately thrusts back inside again. The pleasure is more than he can handle. He can feel his bird anatomy jerk and twitch, spilling seed inside of her before he pulls out.\n\nHesat looks surprised, "You're done?" She asks before she can catch herself, one of her hands quickly covering her mouth as soon as the words have left it.\n\n"I believe so," Ra replies, uncertain of her sudden change in demeanor, "Did I do it wrong?"\n\n[[Continue.|AfterFirstSex]]

"Khara!" Ra curses as automated landing systems abort. The message displayed on his monitor displaying the message, 'Landing gear malfunction, pilot input required.'\n\nGrasping at controls he never learned to use properly. The ship's speed is good and it's trajectory looks correct, but without proper landing gear he knows it is about to be a rough landing.\n\nOn the ground through the view port, he can see the shadow of Atet cast on the earth beneath the ship. The sun at his back as he approaches the ground. Claxons blare just seconds before he hits the ground, warning passengers, or in this case the ship's sole passenger, of an imminent crash.\n\nFor just a split second he allows his eyes to flicker further ahead, to the small village he had selected for his first meeting with members of this race. But he barely has time to contemplate what they are seeing before his attention is forced back to his own plight.\n\nThe ship hits the ground, not as hard as Ra had feared, but still hard enough to jar him in his seat. Atet bounces once then slides into a long skid.\n\nFrantically working the controls before him, he quickly realizes there's nothing he can do about the skid and throws his hands in the air in frustration. Instead he turns his eyes back to the view port and uttering a soft prayer that the ship will stop before reaching the village.\n\nIt's not until Atet smashes through a dozen of more trees from a small cluster of trees that the ship finally comes to rest.\n\nRa's pulse continues to pound, all three of his hearts working frantically while he attempts to will himself calm. \n\nHis eyes return to the village again, much closer than he had intended, but still perhaps a quarter mild distant. //Greetings first, then I can figure out how badly Atet has been damaged,// His face creases unhappily, //I should have inspected the ship before trying to land, I should have anticipated that there may be troubles after the damage she sustained during my escape.//\n\nLooking down at himself, he inspects his clothes, tailored to look similar to those the locals wear, then nodding to himself, he stands and walks toward the the ship's exit port.\n\n[[Stepping foot onto a new world.]]
Ra stands at Atet's bridge, one hand above a control console as he looks out the view screen. \n\n<<if $RaCherry is "popped">>As he gazes down on the bustling village below the hovering ship, he sees Hesat step to his side out of the corner of his eye. One of her hands clasps his own, her fingers interlacing with his, and she leans lightly against his side as she has grown fond of doing.\n\n//She is a rare creature this Hesat. She is smart, and full of life.// Ra looks over at her, smiling slightly, //And if I am being honest with myself, I have started to grow fond of her.//\n\nHe gives her hand a little squeeze, causing her to smile, then releases her hand.\n\n//But no matter how much I would like it, even surrounded by these people, I still feel impossibly alone.//\n\n<<else>>As he gazes down on the bustling village below the hovering ship, he sees Hesat move close to him, standing near enough to touch if he so desired, but far enough away to remain apart.\n\nHis mind flashes back to that first night, //She undressed herself, seeking to share my bed for the night. Yet she has never been so forward with me again. I wonder if she still thinks of that night?// Ra quickly pushes the thought aside. \n\nTurning toward her, she gives her a faint smile, one that draws a returning smile from her before she looks down at the deck beneath her feet. \n\n//She is a rare creature this Hesat. She is smart, and full of life.// Ra thinks to himself, //And if I am being honest with myself, I have started to grow fond of her.//\n\n<</if>>Both hands go to the console before him, Atet groans softly as the ship begins to descend. Once all of the commands are entered, Ra looks back at the city as it becomes larger on the view screen before him.\n\nEverything is a hive of activity. People scurrying about as they work, from here it is impossible to see the people glancing up at the ship in wonder, but Ra can almost feel their eyes. //This is because of me,// He looks at the wooden scaffolding raising into the sky where these people have begun to build structures unlike anything these people had conceived of before.\n\nMassive pillars raise into the sky. Some erected as a single piece, while others are built from carefully fitted stones that creates a surface so smooth that there are no perceptible seams. //These people, when given a task, they are talented craftsmen.//\n\nAlong the outskirts of the village are many small buildings being built, homes to house the hundreds of new people arriving every day.\n\nFurther in the distance he can already see early excavation beginning in preparation for the wards that can shield the world. Ra thinks of the similar structures on his own world, dozens of them scattered across the planet, //They hid us from //them// for thousands of years. It was like we were invisible to them right up until the moment the gateway was opened from our side.//\n\nRa feels a twinge of anger at himself for dwelling on the past, //The mistakes of my people are mistakes to avoid here. But what is done is done, and no matter how strange these people are, or how badly I wish not to be alone, there is nothing that can be done to change the past.//\n\n<<if $sunGod is "true">>He glances toward Hesat, feeling a momentary twinge of guilt at allowing her, and the rest of her species believe that he is a God. He quickly stamps down that guilt, //If they must believe a lie to save themselves, then it is a small price to pay.\n\n<<else>>He glances toward Hesat, feeling a momentary misgiving about passing himself off as a God. She knows the truth, but she has urged him to allow the people to believe him a God, that her people's faith will prove a stronger motivator than the truth.\n\nRa grimaces at the thought, //If they must believe a lie to save themselves, then it is a small price to pay.\n\n<</if>>Once the ship has settled on the area at the edge of the the great city of Cairo, Ra turns to Hesat, "There is much that we both must do," Without further elaborating, he strides toward the ship's exit, trusting that she will do as he has asked of her. In the meantime, he has much to do as well.\n\n[[Continue.|Entering Sandbox.]]\n
//Perhaps it will be easier this way?// Ra thinks, momentarily amused at the thought of being worshiped as a God before the gravity of doing so begins to sink in. \n\nThe smile is stillborn on his face as the reality of his situation sinks in, //If they see me as a God, then that might make this easier? Surely one lie is a small price to pay in order to save this world?//\n\n"You will bring forth your priesthood and your elders. Tonight we shall feast and tomorrow we will begin to plan for what is to come," Ra's mood darkens slightly, not liking the situation he puts himself in but seeing no other solution.\n\nAn old man stands uncertainly, his head still downcast, "It will be as you say great one."\n\nRa feels a chill go through him at the term 'Great one' as it dredges up memories of his world's fall, but he quickly shakes the thought as he focuses on the man's words.\n\nGlancing over his shoulder at one of the still kneeling people, he urgently declares, "Go, find Hesat, we have need of her."\n\nThen his eyes turn back to Ra, there's a reverence in his features, "Our humble village does not have much, but all we have we offer to you," The man says, bowing forward so far Ra fears the man will fall forward, "[[Tonight, we host a feast in your honor!]]"\n\n

"I am no God," Ra says instinctively, a little troubled that these primitive people might see him as such.\n\nOne of the people before him glances up, then says something to another in a hushed voice. \n\nRa waits as they speak quietly but urgently between themselves.\n\nThere is a mix of fear and reverence in the eyes of the old man who looks up at him, "If you are not a God, then what are you?"\n\n"I come from beyond your sun," Ra begins.\n\n"No one but a God may come from the sun," The man replies.\n\nRa feels a moment of frustration at the man's logic. //How do I argue something like this with someone who doesn't understand the concept of space travel?//\n\nShaking his head, "I am no God, but I have come to help your people, to save your world from a great evil."\n\nThe old man pulls himself a little straighter, "The Gods act strangely, and it is often up to our priests or priestesses to divine their words," Turning to one of the other men, he speaks urgently, "Find Hesat," Then looking back to Ra, "We are humbled to be in the presence of a great one,-"\n\nRa feels a chill go through him at the term 'Great one' as it dredges up memories of his world's fall, but he quickly shakes the thought as he focuses on the man's words.\n\n"Our humble village does not have much, but all we have we offer to you," The man says, bowing forward so far Ra fears the man will fall forward, "[[Tonight, we host a feast in your honor!]]"<<set $sunGod to "false">>
The solar ship Atet had traveled a millennia through the space between stars, fleeing the destruction of it's world of origin, Ptah. She was never intended to see use as a military vessel, but even so the ship shows signs of heavy battle damage.\n\nAs the ship passes a nearby solar system, automated systems scan the sun and the planets that surround it. \n\nFor the first time in the ship's long journey, the scanners detected a habitable that had not been laid to waste by the war the ship was fleeing.\n\nMore active scans begin, seeking out any sign of the dreaded enemy and the broken barren worlds that are left in their wake.\n\nA closer scan detects traces of the enemy, as if their kind had passed through the solar system in the distant past but did not linger for long.\n\nLights begin to flicker to life as additional ship's systems come to life. The life pod of the last surviving member of the ship's crew, possibly the last surviving member of it's race, flickers and makes a soft whirring sound. Within seconds a digital readout flashes to life and displays characters in an alien language.\n\nWhen the front of the survival pod folds open, a blue green man gasps, his large oval eyes flying wide. There's a look of panic in his features as he scrambles naked from the pod.\n\nOverall, he looks much like a human, only taller and with a head that is elongated. His eyes are oval shaped and solid black.\n\nHe looks around frantically, searching for any sign of danger, then dashes to the computer station where he begins typing in commands. \n\nWithin seconds, he finds the information he was seeking, //No signs of pursuit.//\n\nNearly weeping in relief, he takes a deep breath to steady himself before typing in several more commands.\n\n//A planet, Much like Ptah. Traces of the hated enemy having visited the system, but no sign of their habitation. And most encouraging, signs of primitive life untouched by the enemy's corruption.//\n\nSitting heavily in the chair at the console, he slumps, looking like a man defeated. He knows that he should feel elated at having escaped with his life, but knowing that everyone he has ever cared is either dead, or far worse, felt like a crushing weight to him.\n\nA light on the console begins to flash, requesting input. He merely stares at it, unable to will himself to make a decision.\n\nEventually, he presses several buttons on the console. It doesn't end the flashing light, but instead brings up a secondary display that showed grainy images of the local population. They appear to have light brown skin, their heads aren't long enough, and their eyes are too small. Even so, they have a striking resemblance to the creature sitting at the console.\n\n//Even if there aren't any of my own people left to save, perhaps there is something here worth saving?//\n\nWith a heavy sigh, he enters several commands into the console. The flashing light turns off and the ship groans as it alters course.\n\n//Well Ra, for right or wrong, this is where I make my final stand.//\n\n[[Five days later.]]
Taking a deep breath of the air, his nose wrinkles, //Smells funny,// He thinks, realizing that while his computer indicated that the air is breathable that it never crossed his mind that the air would smell so //alien.//\n\nA noise, shrill and high draws his attention to one side. He quickly moves toward the sound. He follows the sound to a broken tree, then within it's branches he sees a tangle of twigs and other small items, //Strange,// He thinks, reaching out to turn the tangle. \n\nThe sounds grow more frantic as he sees that the tangle is actually a nest, hollowed in the middle and showing signs of habitation from some form of avian. Tipping the nest upright, he looks at the two creatures left in it's wake, "Let me help you back into your home, forgive my intrusion." He mutters more to himself than to the animals. Reaching down, he tries to catch the first avian, only to have it nip at him, it's beak cutting his finger. \n\nHe jerks back his hand, seeing a bit of blue green blood forming at the wound. But the contact has a second consequence as well. The contact evokes a genetic response from Ra's physiology. His cells change, absorbing the DNA from this creature for it's own use. With his guard down, Ra does not resist his body's response to this new material. He can feel his cells nearly vibrate with energy, skin along his arms ripples and he can see a wave of feathers reupt from his flesh to make his arms look more like wings than proper arms even with his hands relatively unaffected at their ends. The sensation continues up through his chest and into his head where he feels his face pull forward. Feathers sprout across his head even as his lips and teeth pull forward to form a beak. When it's done, his entire body feels lighter.\n\n"Ibn el caleb!" He blurts, //I hate it when that happens!// \n\nAnother nearby sound catches his attention, this time behind him. His head whips around with more speed than he intended due to his temporarily adopted avian physiology. Standing perhaps twenty paces from where he is stands a young man, eyes wide.\n\n"I am Ra, I have come to save your people," Ra says before he can stop and consider his words. \n\nRealizing what he must look like, he wills himself to repress his avian characteristics and shift his appearance back to his true appearance. \n\nThe man's eyes widen further and he falls to his knees, throwing himself face first at the ground.\n\n//Is this some form of greeting? My observations of these people is admittedly limited, but I haven't seen any sign of this social behavior before,// "Stand human, I would look upon your face as I greet you." \n\nThe man can't quite bring himself to look at Ra, instead he scrambles to his feet and begins to run toward the village.\n\n//He must have been in this grove of trees when I crashed,// Ra realizes, //And the experience must have frightened him terribly.//\n\nUnsure of what else to do, Ra begins to walk toward the village. By the time he reaches the edge of the grove, he can see that the man has nearly reached the village already and that several other people have come to meet him. Words are exchanged between them, but Ra is far too distant to make out individual words even if they had been talking slower so he could understand them, //Why does this race speak so quickly when excited?//\n\nHe's only half way to the group before they start to turn their eyes on him.\n\nThe sense of awe from them is almost like a physical thing in the air, //This is not going as I had intended,// One by one, the people fall to their knees, falling face first into the dirt as the first man had done at Ra's approach.\n\n"Ra," One of the older men says, //The younger one must have repeated my name to these others,// "God of the sun!" The man declares.\n\n//God?// The reality of his appearance, his ship falling from the sky the way it did, must have had a more profound effect on these people than he had intended.\n\n[[Ra does not correct their mistake.]]\n\n[[Ra tries to explain who he really is.]]<<set $Horus to "false">>

Late in the night, he stands, "Thank you all for your hospitality. When I return, I will wish to speak with your leaders, your elders, and your people of learning. We have much to discuss, and even more to do." With a formal bow, he turns to go.\n\nRa is just leaving the village when he notices someone following. He takes a few more steps before stopping and turning.\n\nJust a few paces behind him, Hesat follows.\n\n//In the dark, her skin almost looks blue. Last Stand of Ra
The next few hours are a flurry of activity. Children trying to sneak peeks at him from around small structures. Adults scrambling about, preparing a feast in his honor. The females of the village being paraded before him one after another. And all the while Hesat is always near, watching him. The whole situation comes off as more than a little overwhelming and he has no idea how he should respond to any of it. \n\nSo he sits, and he waits, hoping that once the festivities die down a bit that he can begin to set plans in motion.\n\nThe sun has just reached the horizon when the food begins to be brought out for consumption. Ra is aware of the sun's warmth on his back, and realizes that from where he is sitting, it must look like the sun is setting behind him to many of those present.\n\n<<if $sunGod is "true">>//Good, it is important that I make a profound impression on these people.//\n\n"Do we displease you?" Hesat asks softly as she approaches, a platter of food in her hands.\n\nRa reaches out, selecting an item at random from the platter, //I should have paid more attention to their foods when I was studying them. I've no idea if these things will nourish me at all.//\n\nTaking a slow bite, he finds the dark dried fruit to be mildly sweet and chewy, //These are pleasant enough,// He thinks to himself.\n\nSwallowing what is in his mouth, he finally replies to her inquiry, "Your people's kindness and generosity pleases me. Why do you believe you have not pleased me?"\n\nHesat looks uncomfortable, her eyes sharp as she appears to gather her thoughts before replying.\n\n//She is wise, to weigh her words before speaking speaks highly of her ability to reason.//\n\n"Many here are concerned that we are being tested. You come before us, a God, yet you make no demands, and when we present our unclaimed women to you, you take no interest." Hesat meets his eyes, but it's an unsteady gaze, as if she's uncertain if meeting his eyes is the right thing to do.\n\nRa feels a smile tug at the corner of his lips, "And if I told you that this was in fact a test? That your faith will be tried in ways you could not yet imagine?" //Wait a minute, were they sending those women before me to entice me sexually?// The final thought leaves him filled with mixed feelings.\n\nHesat swallows hard, nodding, "Then we, your faithful servants will do all that we must to serve you."\n\nHe nods, still feeling misgivings at passing himself off as a God to these people, "And if I were to tell you that there is a great evil coming, and that I am here to save this land?"\n\nThere's a longer pause this time, "Then we would raise armies in your name to fight this evil."\n\n"I will ask for much in the coming days and years, though I fear armies would not stand long against our enemies," He watches her through half lidded eyes. Absently, he picks up a few more pieces of the dried fruits he has been eating, nibbling at one piece at a time as the two continue their conversations.\n\nShe remains quiet for quite some time, clearly lost in her own thoughts for a time.\n\n"Hesat," Ra says, pulling her from her reprieve, "This eve, we enjoy the moment, we celebrate and feast. Tomorrow we will begin to lay plans for what lies ahead," Even as he utters the words, he feels the urge to make haste, but he stamps that urge down, knowing that to these people, what is happening at this moment is an important part of what will come.\n\n<<else>>//I must be a truly frightening sight to these people. But if they had any idea of what was coming,-// Ra quickly squashes the thought before he can allow it to take root in his mind in a more substantial way.\n\n"You say that you are not a God, but your deeds make a lie of those words, " Hesat says softly as she approaches, a platter of food in her hands.\n\nRa reaches out, selecting an item at random from the platter, //I should have paid more attention to their foods when I was studying them. I've no idea if these things will nourish me at all.//\n\nTaking a slow bite, he finds the dark dried fruit to be mildly sweet and chewy, //These are pleasant enough,// He thinks to himself.\n\nSwallowing what is in his mouth, he finally replies to her inquiry, "I am a traveler. I come from another word where a terrible evil descended. I wish to prevent such a horror from happening to your world as well."\n\nHesat looks uncomfortable, her eyes sharp as she appears to gather her thoughts before replying.\n\n//She is wise, to weigh her words before speaking speaks highly of her ability to reason.//\n\n"Many here are concerned that we are being tested. You come before us, the people believe you to be a God even if you say you are not, yet you make no demands, and when we present our unclaimed women to you, you take no interest." Hesat meets his eyes, but it's an unsteady gaze, as if she's uncertain if meeting his eyes is the right thing to do.\n\nRa feels a sad smile tug at the corner of his lips, "Share with me your thoughts? Should I have lied, claimed to be a God that I am not? Or does truth have more meaning?" //Wait a minute, were they sending those women before me to entice me sexually?// The final thought leaves him filled with mixed feelings.\n\nHesat swallows hard, nodding, "Many would not hear your truth even if you spoke it. I do not understand what you are, the Gods live in the sky, and you came from there. I fear this is a test of my faith and I do not know what I must do."\n\nHe nods, feeling conflicted at having shaken this woman so, "And if I asked you back to my ship, I could try to help you understand what I am?"\n\nThere's a longer pause this time, "You wish to take me back to the ship you came on?" There's a faint tremor in her voice as she speaks.\n\n"I think it would help you understand, and perhaps together we can decide what the best course of action would be?" //She seems smart enough, letting her help make plans may make things easier with the people of this world.//\n\nHesat looks at Ra, her eyes a little wide. It's clear that she somehow sees more meaning in his words than he intended, though he still finds it hard to read her alien features very well, "I would be honored to join you this eve."\n\n"I will ask for much in the coming days and years, there will be much to do and little rest," He watches her through half lidded eyes. Absently, Ra picks up a few more pieces of the dried fruits he has been eating, nibbling at one piece at a time as the two continue their conversations.\n\nShe remains quiet for quite some time, clearly lost in her own thoughts for a time.\n\n"Hesat," Ra says, pulling her from her reprieve, "This eve, we enjoy the moment, we celebrate and feast. Tomorrow we will begin to lay plans for what lies ahead," Even as he utters the words, he feels the urge to make haste, but he stamps that urge down, knowing that to these people, what is happening at this moment is an important part of what will come.\n\n<</if>>For the next couple of hours, the festivities continue. Some of the people come before him, performing deeds they think will impress him, //They are like children, seeking approval. Such a vibrant species. I hope I am in time to save them from the fate that befell my world.// All the while, he samples the foods offered to him. He quickly finds that the fruits and breads appeal to him most, the wide range of foods these people eat amaze him.\n\n[[Continue.|Ra Returns to Ship]]

"Greetings, I am known as Ra," Ra says, his voice holding a melodious quality to it but sounding just a little stiff. Grimacing at his reflection in the mirror, he tries again, "Greetings, it is I, Ra, I come from another world to save you."\n\nHis lips tug up in a little smile as he resists the urge to chuckle, "I am so far out of my depth here," He says, trying to recompose his features. Instead, he feels overwhelmed by the situation before him.\n\n//How as I to save this face if I can't even say \nhello' properly?//\n\n[[Two hours later.]]
"No," The way she says is makes him question her sincerity, "It was just quicker than I had expected."\n\n"These pleasures of the flesh, I have never felt such an intense physical sensation before in my life that did not involve pain. Such pleasure is intoxicating and overwhelming," Ra admits.\n\nHesat reaches out, rubbing the nearly retracted penis with her fingertips. It almost instantly begins to harden again, "Then perhaps it is practice that you need, so that you might bask in the pleasure rather than be consumed by it."\n\n//Who am I do deny such an offer?// He thinks, feeling mildly amused as he feels her coax him back to full hardness.\n\n[[One month later.]]<<set $RaCherry to "popped">>
An hour later, Ra sits in an open area near the middle of the small town. //Strange to be in a place with perhaps a hundred people, my home world was populated by tens of billions.// \n\nA dozen people are all talking at once in hushed tones, all about him. //Why is it that even surrounded by all of these people, this is the first time in my life I have felt truly alone?//\n\nRa tries to follow the conversations around him, but with so many people talking, and many of them talking so quickly, it's nearly impossible for him to understand more than a few words.\n\nThe only thing that lightens his mood is the few children he can see, trying to sneak peeks at him from around the adults' legs or from around corners of buildings. With a wry smile, he sometimes waves at them, but they always scurry off as soon as he does so. \n\nA man runs down the street toward the gathering, skidding to a stop near a couple of the elders, "I," He pants, clearly out of breath, "I spoke with her. She did not believe my words, but she came. She insisted someone tend the cattle before coming."\n\nSeveral heads begin to turn toward where the man came from. Ra turns his own head to look as well.\n\nA woman, dressed better than most of the villagers. She's tall, with dark hair that hangs to the middle of her back and prominent breasts. There's an intensity in her eyes that leaves Ra nearly speechless. //By these people's standards, she is very pretty. Her eyes may be a bit small, and her skin doesn't even have a hint of healthy blue to it, but even so she is not hard to look upon.//\n\n<<if $sunGod is "true">>Ra begins to rise from where he was sitting, this new woman's eyes move to him instantly. She registers surprise, but quickly suppresses it, never breaking stride.\n\n"Ra!" She declares as she approaches, "Liar, false God, blasphemer!" She reaches him and shoves him in the center of his chest, knocking him onto his back.\n\nEven as her palm touches his bare chest, he can feel his body storing her DNA, though this time he resists the natural impulse to morph into the form of what touched him. \n\nReaching out, she rubs at the skin of his cheek, then spits on her hand and uses the fluid as she tries to rub again. She clearly looks to be trying to rub the color from his cheek.\n\n"Inks," She mutters.\n\nAll around Ra and this new woman, the people look in surprise, clearly unsure of what is happening.\n\nOne of her hands reaches for a knife at her belt. With reflexes faster than any human, Ra's hand snaps toward her own, catching her wrist, twisting until he can feel bone beginning to grind, then slaps her hand with her free hand to send the knife flying.\n\n//The avian appearance seemed to leave a significant impression on the man who saw it, perhaps it will work again?//\n\nDrawing on the stored DNA in his body, he allows the falcon's genetic code to merge temporarily with his own. Feathers burst from his arm in a wave that follows up toward his shoulder. As the changes reach his chest, he sees the woman's eyes widen in shock, and by the time his head changes into that of a falcon, her mouth is open in wonder.\n\n"Is this the way you treat a God?" Ra asks, more anger making it's way into his voice than he intends.\n\n<<else>>Ra begins to rise from where he was sitting, this new woman's eyes move to him instantly. Ra asks, trying to buy a few moments to think.\n\nHe feels a sharp pain in his belly, his eyes flicker down to see her holding a knife, the tip of which is just breaking his skin, "Then I will kill you for the lying filth you are," She hisses.\n\n"So be it," Drawing on the stored DNA in his body, he allows the falcon's genetic code to merge temporarily with his own. Ra asks, more anger making it's way into his voice than he intends. //If my own people would have had this kind of fire in their hearts, perhaps my home world would not yet have fallen.//\n\nShe pulls back her knife suddenly, as of just now aware of where it is. The wound closes in it's wake within seconds leaving nothing more than a few drops of light blue blood where she had cut him.\n\n<</if>>"Ra, God of the Sun," She says breathlessly, please forgive my disbelief, I am Hesat, a simple priestess."\n\nHesat scrambles off of him, then falls to the ground with her face in the dirt just like those he had met earlier had done, "Please, my life is yours to do with as you will."\n\nRa sighs inwardly, then stands, "Then get up, there will be much to discuss."\n\n[[Continue.|Evening Party.]]\n
